Michelle joined the SBA Executive in 2010 when she joined the Canadian Broomball Federation Board of Directors as their Secretary.

Michelle was an integral part of the 2016 World Broomball Championships committee. In late 2014 when Stacey asked Michelle to join this committee, she didn’t even question how much work it might entail, she just with a smile said, absolutely where do you need me and never looked back. Michelle was technically the Chair looking after registration, but she helped out in all areas. As we all know that year before Worlds Don Black became ill and couldn’t fulfil his role to his full capabilities, so the committee members stepped up to help out. Michelle especially helped out with Sponsorship searches, volunteer recruitment, connections with the host communities, accommodations etc., Michelle had her hand in it all. Most importantly though she was on site for the event, all day

We as a board feel Michelle checks all the boxes when it comes to this award, and we would greatly appreciate you accepting this nomination.

It was our great pleasure to work with Michelle these past 10 years, and truly wish that we had more years with her.
